Generally I like to tailor my lessons based off what my students feel they need the most help with that specific session, so usually require students to give me the topic they are struggling on in advance so I can provide them with resources to use during and beyond the session. I like to use unique methods as when teaching younger children I learned that not one teaching method works for all, so I am adaptable in my methods depending on what my student understands. In online sessions I feel there is a large importance on being clear with if you are confused or don't understand as online it is more difficult to read body language and facial expressions to see the level of understanding of concepts. Overall I have minimal professional experience however I have volunteered at schools before and had to help children with homework in variety of subjects, as well as also helping tutor my Arabic cousin in English as a foreign language. This has all added and developed my skills as tutor, and although I feel I provide real value to students I am still always learning and willing to change or adjust my techniques. I enjoy getting feedback from students, good or bad, as it shows me even more how I can enhance the experience for them in future sessions. For students located in Swansea,Wales I am willing to do face to face sessions as well as online. I have a designated area where I can tutor my students with no disruption however I do not mind commuting to students houses if the time is suitable. I hope to be able to help you out! Thanks Zac
