I have over a year of tutoring experience, teaching multiple students English Literature and English Language for both GCSEs and A-levels. I have helped many students improve their grades from 4-5s (C/B) to A* within just a few months of tutoring. I tend to use an online document and share this with the student, via Google Meet, where I talk the student through different texts, novels, poems, plays, or whatever they are being examined on. I provide tutoring for all exam boards. I make notes for the students during the lesson and talk everything through with the student, making sure they understand everything they are learning and writing down, while simultaneously answering any questions they have, throughout the entirety of their lesson. I understand that every student learns differently, so depending on their style, I am highly flexible and adaptable, and am more than happy to use more diagrams/pictures, if that the is most suitable learning style for the particular student. I also regularly test my students, asking them exemplary exam questions from past papers, and go through every single exam question I ask after they have answered, to identify their strengths and weaknesses, guiding them on how to write a high-scoring answer. I ensure to provide model answers of top quality for each question, so they have a prompt on how to score well in the exam.
