Hello, my name is Yuriko. I’m from Japan, and I currently live in the UK.
I have a curious mind and a strong spirit of challenge. I like to think deeply until I am satisfied with my understanding. Through my past successes and failures, I have learned a lot and used those experiences to broaden my values and perspectives.
I am also very interested in learning about different nationalities, races, cultures, and lifestyles, as I believe it helps deepen my understanding of people.
My background is in the medical field, and my goal is to provide healthcare that respects individual rights and dignity. I am also actively engaged in lifelong learning in various fields to improve my skills and knowledge.
I've always loved English and have been learning it for a long time. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to meet people from different countries around the world and teach Japanese. Specifically, I taught Japanese to international students for four years during university, then to nursing students for two years after I started working, and now, I've been teaching Japanese to children in the UK for about five months.
I truly enjoy teaching, and at the same time, I love learning. I believe that language learning is a great way to exchange knowledge about our countries, cultures, and daily lives.
I know that Japanese is a challenging language, so I truly respect all of you who are working so hard to learn it. I’d be really happy to support you on your language-learning journey. I’ll do my best, so let’s enjoy learning together and improve step by step.
I’m really looking forward to studying with you! Thank you.??
