I will utilise lecture-based learning for this platform. Depending on the student's learning goal, I will prioritise an era, style, or medium. My foundational method will be canonical art historical theory and history, and then the questioning of it. How it is taught and questioned will be adapted slightly per student, according to the aforementioned learning goal.
Although I specialise in Western European Renaissance Art, my overall academic background in experiential learning in areas ranging from modern art technology to poster propaganda will enable me to be adaptive to student needs such as certain projects, presentations, or applications.
The dynamics of my lessons will be interactive, as I further emphasize the need for conversation and personal relevance when studying art and its place in our lives.
