I am a native Japanese speaker who has lived in Berkshire, UK for five years. I am interested in learning Japanese and meeting and helping people who enjoy life, food and traditional culture.

I have a deep understanding of Japanese culture and enjoy travelling all over Japan, capturing the hearts and minds of the Japanese people.
If you have this vision, you are the right person for my lessons.

My lessons will basically proceed in Japanese only, except in the case of setbacks, so it is preferable that you are able to converse in everyday Japanese.

Lessons are arranged according to the needs of the student, but are basically structured as follows
1: Daily conversation
2: Q&A based on a topic chosen by the learner from the candidates listed by the teacher
3: Providing feedback and assignments

As I usually live only in English, I hope we can enjoy the conversation together.

I am available for easy online classes such as Zoom and Skype, or face-to-face if you live nearby.

If there is a topic you are interested in or like, or if there is a topic you would like to explore in more depth, please tell me about it in class and I will try to answer or discuss it with you using all my knowledge, having been born and raised in Japan for 50 years, graduated from an art college and spent 20 years at Sony.
