I believe learning a second language is an indispensable opportunity to grow as an individual and experience the world and that it why I believe that students should be offered affordable one to one tuition and given the opportunity of a lifetime.

I have had experience with children, working as Language Assistant in a primary school in Bordeaux, where I taught French to 150 pupils. My responsibility was to prepare a variety of dynamic and engaging academic material and activities. My assistantship allowed me to gain invaluable creativity and teaching skills that motivated students to achieve their best.

I have also worked as an Au Pair to two French primary school aged boys, helping with social development in a busy household. I have also had classroom experience, volunteering as a Peer Mentor to secondary school pupils so have developed strong skills in organisation and communication. My lessons are all about helping the pupil grow in confidence and helping them to hone their linguistic ability in a comfortable yet engaging environment.

I also believe that feedback from my students is invaluable as I aim to provide a unique learning experience. I begin by getting to know the student's preferred way of learning and then I tailor my planning to their preferences, focusing on first having a strong grasp of the fundamentals of the French Language and then expanding on the foundations to explore more sophisticated grammatical and lexical content.

Each lesson plan depends on each student but as I offer online tuition, it will be a mixture of virtual presentations and discussion based/oral tasks as well as reading and writing activities.
