I took Japanese lessons with Ms. Liew last year, and throughout the lessons, Ms. Liew was very sweet, helpful, thoughtful, and patient with us. She would answer all our questions, guide us with our difficulties, encourage us to try our best, and made sure that we understand the materials before moving on.

I had Japanese lessons with her for almost 3 years. Her lessons were engaging, the pacing of the lessons were good and she is very helpful towards her students. She leverages tools like Kahoot and Jamboard to make the lessons interactive. Besides that, she also has a great understanding of Japanese culture thanks to many years of living abroad in Japan. I have learned a lot from her and thoroughly enjoyed her lessons.

Recommended. Mrs Liew is a teacher who has a good personality, relaxed and funny. The learning materials and methods are also effective. Students can learn Japanese quickly and effectively. As a student who has taken Japanese classes from her for years in Malaysia, her commendable teaching skills are noteworthy. Her lessons are well-structured and well-planned, so there is never a hitch in our learning—she will first introduce the fundamental skills and make us practice them, then develop them into the harder bits. She can also adjust her pace to what we require, which comes in handy for harder topics. She has always been very patient with me. She listens and she corrects, and as a slow learner, I have always appreciated the effort she puts into making sure I catch up with the rest of the class. Her lessons have also never lacked an element of fun. She likes to think of creative ways to let us learn, from collaborating in Google Jamboard to splitting up into groups to make impromptu conversations (which actually turned out to be really funny sometimes). I'm glad I have met her on my journey, and I've learnt a lot from her. I hope you will too.

I had the honour of being Liew Sensei's student, I must say it has been the best educational experience I have ever had. Liew Sensei is a very responsible teacher that will tailor the teachings to fit your personal progress. Her knowledge and experience is top notch, often making the learning content way more interesting and effective as I get to understand the content on a cultural level. Being in her classes doesn't feel stressful, but instead is fun and meaningful. She creates a warm and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas while still being able to learn something new. I think this is one of the most important traits of a good tutor to a student, they allow students to relate themselves to the content. In my opinion, I think she is a helpful tutor, she'll help me when I don't understand the meaning or words. During the lesson she won't let me feel like stressful or burden, I can feel happy and enjoy while I'm learning and she able to make the lessons easy to understand. I learnt a lot from her lessons.

Class with Yoke Ching sensei has been fun. Her Japanese langguage lessons were engganging and useful. She always makes things simple and easily remember for us tru various activities and songs. I recommended her for everyone whole heartedly.
