I like to use zoom as my communication tool as it’s a medium I have the most experience in. Teaching with me will be adaptive to your needs and together we can work out how you learn best and I’ll accommodate the teaching accordingly.
A lesson with me will typically involve going over mark schemes, understanding areas to improve on, and evaluating previous work that’s been set, as well as progress in school if relevant.
Alongside this, we will understand the concepts of psychology relevant to the modules you’re studying, and we will then test the knowledge with some pre-set questions that I have collated at the end of each session. These will be revisited in later sessions to ensure that there is retention of the learning we have done in previous sessions. This is the best way to learn.
Nearer to exam times we can go through past papers to understand how to answer questions and the wording mark schemes will need to ensure you are in the best position going into exams and I can provide you with this confidence!
I understand what it’s like to do psychology at A-level, and can offer assistance in this and in GCSE. Furthermore, I can give an insight into what it’s like to work in the psychology field and give some career tips and guidance into how to make the best out of your CV and with university applications. I received all my offers for university and will be happy to share my tips and techniques for this.
As mentioned I’m currently working in both the privateer and public sector as a recent graduate and have a lot of experience with the added benefit that I’m a recent graduate and the knowledge is still fresh for me!
