For beginners, I will start with Pinyin to teach students how to pronounce Chinese, then I will take students to learn the basic Chinese characters, from words to phrases to sentences, and familiarise them with the Chinese language system in a step-by-step manner. I will put the students in a Chinese environment so that they can develop a Chinese mindset to better use the language.
