Yi-Fang has been a TESOL certified teacher and tutor for over 11 years and she also coaches tutors to better themselves as educators. Her passion for education has continued to grow after assisting hundreds of students across the globe. Yi-Fang's classes balance theories and practicability. As an online teacher, Yi-Fang teaches ESL of all levels and academic testing systems: ACT, SAT, TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, and Cambridge English lessons encompassing a range of skill-building activities for speaking, writing, reading and listening.
Being a schoolteacher in her early teaching career, she trained ESL students to compete in annual English speech contests and English storytelling and writing competitions (two of her students' speeches were recorded and broadcast on FM Taiwan. 8 out of the 15 students were awarded in the English speech contest. 1 of them won the championship). Yi-Fang blends multicultural and multinational awareness into her lesson plans to further augment students’ knowledge in global understanding and cultural diversities. Other than being a teacher, Yi-Fang worked as a translator, interpreter and an English essay grader.
Yi-Fang is a permanent resident in England but was born and raised in Taiwan. At leisure, Yi-Fang loves learning languages, listening to podcasts, traveling and doing cardio and weight training workouts. In her 20s, she volunteered to teach English in Manila, the Philippines, worked and traveled in the USA, studied an exchange program in Berlin Germany, backpacked in eastern and western Europe.
