I have very good experience in teaching, as I have been teaching for 5 years, and I have taught all age groups from a diverse and different backgrounds.
My teaching method is a good and firm grasp on the fundamentals. I believe that a good understanding on the fundamentals and basics of the instrument will give the student the freedom and abilities to express themselves more and have a better understanding of the music.
With beginner students we would work on posture, bow hold, violin hold and tuning. then we progress to different stages depending on the student.
Usually we start with working on scales and the fundamentals. Afterwards we would work on the musical and technical aspects through exercises, etudes, caprices and melodic pieces, both accompanied and unaccompanied works.
We would work on producing a good sound quality and tone while expanding their musical understanding.
We would set up goals and try to achieve them, and will keep track of their improvements within our set time frame.
I believe that good communication between the teacher and student is pivotal to their musical growth of the students. therefore I create an environment where the student feels comfortable to ask and explore their musical ideas.
from then on we would advance to a more musically diverse pieces, wish gives the student a broader perspective on their musical style and personal ideas whish we will explore as the student progresses more in their studies.
I promise a fun, engaging and advantageous class.
