Yadu Appulingam

In my lessons, I will see what topics the student(s) are struggling with and give questions accordingly. Classes will take place on google meet and I will work through questions on google jamboard. I will also help and go through any questions the student needs and it will be an interactive experience. My prior experience of tutoring is during a volunteering programme through my school where I tutored GCSE maths to year 11 students from schools in the local area for around 3 months. Moreover, I have volunteered in a chemistry outreach programme where I helped fellow year 12 students to perform practical experiments beyond the curriculum. In mathematics, I achieved a 9 in iGCSE maths and took both maths and further maths a level in 2023. I have also competed in maths challenges from junior to senior levels and progressed to the olympiad each year, even achieving a distinction in Cayley. My tutoring will provide an interactive experience as well as give a better understanding of difficult topics.
