Before we begin our lessons, I ensure that I accurately understand where a student is in their development, and where they intend to be. This comes from a combination of talking to parents and students, and giving them tests of a variety of different levels to understand their current abilities. From there I create both short and long term lesson plans and development goals, both of which will be communicated to parents. These goals are reflected on regularly, and I will regularly send out reports and test the students ability to ensure they are on target. My lessons are typically an hour long and full reports are given to parents at the end.
