I am a qualified EFL teacher with many years of practical English teaching across many countries ( and continents! ) Because of my vast experience, I have over the years acquired several different methods for teaching English. This means that my teaching approach can be best suited to the demands of any one client. But however you learn with me, you will find that I am always putting you centre-stage so that you really 'use' your English and flourish in it.
I will make sure that you improve your standard which will enable you to advance in your job... at school... or whatever it is you need to improve English for ( ...of course it might just be for you, for personal reasons, and that's fine too. )
I will make sure that whatever your motivation is for studying English, you will get so much out of classes with me that you will look forward to the next... and the next.
To this end, I am open to adapting classes to any specific requirement a student may have ( ...for example, you're attending a conference in Helsinki next week and so want to know the type of questions best suited to meeting people for the first time ( by the way, it's always a good idea to ask them about their interests! )
I put a lot into my classes, and in some ways they are like the tip of an iceberg, there's a lot more goes on beneath the surface than appears, with class planning, pacing, etc. In short everything so that I can make sure I'm delivering the best possible package for you.
