My aim is to simplify the process of learning a language and to ensure that my students leave my sessions with confidence to improve. The key to speaking any new language is to believe that it can be done, to speak confidently and proudly and, most of all, to enjoy the process.

I have had many years of experience in supporting and encouraging foreign students and to see them now speak fluently, is a joy. In addition, I also have spent a lot of time with native English speakers to build their skills and have often worked alongside schools and colleges, which has been most-enjoyable.

Style wise, I am quite adaptable. Our initial discussions will be around what you want to achieve and why, and then we can develop a learning strategy to suit you and achieve the outcome you require as quickly (or as slowly) as you need it.

The advantage to using me is that I treat teaching as a hobby, I have a successful, full time career and my only motivation for my students is to help them improve on their use if the English Language. Often, when being tutored, you can feel like you ned to do more sessions than are necessary and that can lead to a great deal of your personal time and money being taken up unnecessarily. All of my courses are bespoke and a timeline for competition is agreed in advance following your initial assessment and we will regularly revisit this to ensure you are benefitting as you had hoped.
