Hello! I have worked with Overseas professionals and students my whole working life. I have assissted friends, family, colleagues and paying customers in passing their IELTS or to master the REAL spoken English language. Spoken English has a multitude of accents and colloquialisms. I have found that most foreign nationals have exceptional English grammar and vocabulary but poor spoken English. The most requested outcome I have is "to be able to speak like a local." The next is "how can I more more professionally?" The majority of my students and the people I have helped have been Medical Doctors, surgeons, nurses and Engineers. My lessons are mostly conversation based, highlighting what accents you wish to understand or master, and breaking down words and sentence structure to a more realistic way of speaking. I do not concentrate much on grammar as many average native English folk have poor or reduced English grammar, this is reflected in their speech. The goals of my teaching are to help people integrate into society, feel at ease around native speakers, better their understanding of local language and to be able to pass job interviews or elevate their professional language skills. I can help people speak the Queen's (now King's) English, but it is barely used in day-to-day conversation e.g. ordering food, asking for directions or over the phone and therefore, mostly not fit for use.
