I want the lessons to be light and relaxed. Although there will be an expectation that work will be done, I believe that people will be more engaged and willing to learn when they are in an environment where they feel comfortable. Despite the lessons being online, I am committed to have a good rapport with the students and for there to be mutual respect at all times. As each student will be different, I am very much convinced that the learning approach should be different for each student, which makes the positive rapport and good working relationship even more important. In regards to experience, I have a BA in Theology from Regents Theological College. I also have nearly ten years experience in youth work in various contexts which has included a great deal of public speaking. I regularly speak in front of 40+ people and have been involved in reliving work shops in schools as well as giving online talks to corporate companies. As part of my own personal development, I have undertaken a TQUK accredited qualification in coaching in mentoring in order to help and encourage people to be the best they can be.
