I try to engage students as much as possible rather than talking at them, so lessons will be discussions about themselves to get them to understand how to improve. I also will ask students to show me essays or pieces of work they have done and then analyse them together. I am flexible on the content of the lessons, and so students can ask to cover anything they are not confident on and we can als...
