I am an 18 year old male student as the University of Edinburgh looking to become an online tutor. I have previously set up my own non-profit platform, teaching French to around 30 students in 2021 using Microsoft Teams/Zoom. I have then reinforced my skills by living in France with a family teaching both the parents and the children English. This gave me a fundamental understanding of necessary techniques to assist clients of all ages and adaptability to alter my programme depending on circumstance/progress. Over the lockdown I also volunteered online as a student mentor for those around my community who may have been struggling with the pressures of online schooling. This also helped me develop and understand student’s needs from a personal and emotional stance. As a student I would be willing to work flexible hours and would also be happy to travel to the location, provided that it was local. I am looking for clients of any ages and any current proficiencies in the Subjects of French and Latin. I would also be able to offer beginner Spanish and German lessons, but only up to a GCSE level. I would also be willing to assist with the subject of Ancient History as it is a true passion of mine.
