In my lessons, I prioritize an interactive and engaging learning experience. I use a formats, including presentations, hands-on activities, and discussions, to ensure students remain involved throughout. Lessons often begin with an introduction to key concepts, examples or case studies, especially drawn from my own experiences in History, archaeology and conservation. I encourage students to ask questions and think critically about the material presented.
I also incorporate multimedia tools, such as videos, images, and virtual tours, to help visualize historical or archaeological sites and artifacts. Group work is often a part of the lesson dynamics, allowing students to collaborate, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. In more advanced lessons, I incorporate problem-solving exercises, encouraging students to apply their knowledge to analyze data or tackle research-based questions.
With over 2 years of experience in archaeology and research, my lessons are enriched by life examples from these fields. This helps students see the practical applications of what they learn and provides insight into the professional world of archaeology and heritage conservation. By the end of each lesson, students leave with not just theoretical knowledge, but also skills they can use in further studies or careers.
My goal is to create a dynamic, supportive environment where students are encouraged to explore and develop a deep appreciation for history, archaeology, and cultural heritage.
