As someone who loved learning English language and literature, I very much learned to love reading and creative writing, and I learnt best by bouncing my ideas and thoughts at my teacher and classmates, I believe in a fun practical learning environment which is what I would love to introduce to my students. I grew up being a bookworm and taking many books out at a time from the library, but that doesn’t mean all children think the same way as I do, and I am here to show them what I have learnt, and what they can do to find that drive and passion within themselves!

I strongly believe giving children the choice to decide how they would like to learn is very important, as every individual person learns differently and kids tend to get tired and bored of learning if you don’t keep it interesting; I assure you that won’t happen with me.

I love brainstorming ideas, using flash cards, watching videos, discussing ideas altogether and creating fun activities for them to complete in and out of learning time. I want to show my students that learning can be a fun and interesting activity rather than a chore, to ensure their brain stays active and make sure they keep on top of their work.

Another significant aspect that I think is important for a good tutor is that I am a very patient and caring person, I believe that it’s vital for a tutor to really be able to listen to their students’ needs, and I can and will make sure this happens.
