I managed to reach a native level in Italian in just a few years. This was partly due to me moving there, but what I took from it is that, to learn a language the best you can, covering it all around, you have to throw yourself into the deep end of the pool. Read, even when you struggle at the beginning; watch TV series with your native language subtitles on, and gradually you'll be able to switch them to the language you are trying to read; listen to foreign music and read the lyrics and you will multiply your vocab in no time. And, most importantly, make it fun and relatable, otherwise you will get tired and you will feel defeated sooner than you think, growing to eventually hate the language you once were so keen to learn.
I refuse to give you exercises that will feel like a chore, because I am aware that everyone has different interests and different modus operandi when it comes to learning a new language. We will work on a person to person basis, trying to find the best approach for you to optimise results. The goal here will be improvement in a timely manner, without taking away chances to amplify and broaden the opportunities to learn new things everytime, regardless of you only need help with proofreading an essay or if you need some advice on what to read next.
I am open to try different techniques, to dip my own toes into unexpected situations and problems. Whatever it is, the goal is to solve it together.
