I would teach the topic first, make them understand the topic instead of memorising so that the knowledge is stored in the long term and give them a topic test to test their knowledge and find out their weaknesses so that they can improve on it. I would teach the topic first, make them understand the topic instead of memorising so that the knowledge is stored in the long term and give them a topic test to test their knowledge and find out their weaknesses so that they can improve on it. I am a visual and kinesthetic learner meaning that I learn better by taking notes and doing flashcards for revision. Also, from my experience of studying I like to use a variety of revision techniques to make my revision fun and effective.
If they have any concerns regarding a topic that they have from school they can tell the tutors and the tutors would be more than happy to go over the topics that they are weak at for the students to fill in the missing gaps of knowledge they have.
