I have helped secondary school children who were uncomfortable with reading and writing English as they recently moved over to the UK. Through my experience, I built the skills of relatability and empathy and this helped accelerate the academics of these children who saw me as someone to trust and share their problems more specifically.

In my lessons, I will emulate these skills learnt and establish myself as a friendly teacher but also someone who is motivating and sets goals to work towards.
