Personal Statement

*Education*

I have a strong academic background, with a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Hertfordshire. During my studies, I learned about environmental management, sustainability, and policies, which helped me develop strong analytical skills. I also completed a Master’s in Education (M. Ed) from Ajk university Pakistan , where I gained practical knowledge in educational research, curriculum development, and student assessment. My Bachelor’s in Education (B. Ed) gave me a solid foundation in teaching methods, classroom management, and instructional design. These qualifications have prepared me well to create engaging lessons and support students in their learning journey.

*Experience*

I have more than seven years of teaching experience in Pakistan at respected institutions, including Government Girls High School Naliyan and Fatima tu Zahra College. As a Senior Science Teacher, I created lesson plans, taught classes, and assessed student progress. I also tailored my teaching to meet the diverse needs of my students, making sure everyone had the chance to succeed. My work in these schools helped me build strong classroom management skills and taught me how to create a positive learning environment. In addition, I volunteered as a tutor at First Call Childcare in the UK, where I provided individual support to children, helping them improve their literacy skills. This experience allowed me to understand the specific needs of students who require extra care and support.

*Skills*

Over the years, I have developed a range of skills that are essential for the Teaching Assistant role. My classroom management abilities allow me to create a structured and supportive learning environment where students feel safe and encouraged to learn. I am skilled in using different teaching methods, such as inquiry-based learning and project-based learning, to help students think critically and solve problems. My experience in curriculum development means I can design lessons that meet educational goals and address the needs of all students. I am also comfortable using technology to enhance learning, whether by incorporating digital tools into lessons or using software to support student progress. My communication skills enable me to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, which is key to a successful learning experience.
