Our Maths/Physics lessons will focus on developing the ability to understand questions and turn them into mathematical expressions, making them simple to solve. This is the key to problem-solving.

If you are looking for exam preparation, our introductory lesson(free) will focus on identifying any weaker areas of your knowledge or ability, which will help us plan further lessons. The subsequent sessions will consist of briefly discussing the topic at hand, and then solving related problems. I will help you with those tasks and fix any misconceptions or gaps in understanding. At the end of each lesson, I'll task you with working on the problems we've left unsolved before our next session. Eventually, you will develop the ability to fully understand problems and freely choose a method to solve them.
Alternatively, you can share a particular area of interest, after which we will follow a similar path, but build up to more challenging problems, while I also try to test your understanding and enhance it. We could aim to reach mastery of harder problems than those in exams.

Physics lessons will again focus on problem-solving and follow the same outline. Additionally, we will draw analogies between different areas of Physics and work towards a deeper understanding. I say this because the maths within school-level Physics tends to be easier than the examined Maths, but translating questions into equations often proves trickier.

I believe my tutoring can help you greatly because I studied completely by myself for the levels I'm teaching while also successfully helping friends and family with their studies. Thus, I can transfer my understanding effectively to people at different levels of ability. Additionally, I had a great Maths tutor at university, who helped me a lot by emphasising problem-solving.
