I have a Bachelor of Music (Hons) degree in Violin Performance from the Royal Academy of Music, London. I have over 35 years of experience in the classical music field, having started music theory lessons at the age of 2 years and 3 months, and violin and piano lessons shortly thereafter. I have played, orchestrally, under the batons of Bernard Haitink, Sir Colin Davis, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Edward Gardner and others, and have led orchestras under Kurt Masur and Ilan Volkov - amongst many others. I have been taught by, amongst others, Ruggiero Ricci, Erich Gruenberg and Jean Harvey.
My lessons are of the top standard, but nevertheless fun and enjoyable, for students of all levels. Their content varies, as it is uniquely tailored to each student; however, I do teach ABRSM grade music to the students that require and request it, and more advanced content to those that are proficient beyond the ABRSM grades level.
