I like to start off by seeing what exactly we do not understand in a method. I believe that the first to solving a problem is identifying where the problem is. Then I like to explain in a way that is catered to each student as I believe that maths is slightly different for everyone. I like to use examples and diagrams as I find visual aid to be very effective. Once you’ve gotten more confident in a method we then proceed to work on practice questions and then by yourself. Once I can give you a question that you can do without any help we can then move on.
