My goal is to get each student filled with knowledge and experience so they don't need teachers. A first lesson would be to discover the level at which the individual is at and to discover what they want to achieve. From there, I will tailor lessons in this direction to suit each student using my own vast 20 years of audio knowledge and experience. Recording sounds, using microphones, skills for recording bands, mixing and mastering, acoustic treatment skills, setting up websites, marketing, releasing music, running a record label. How to build your own studio. My own experience started 20 years ago when I attended a Sound Engineering course in the year 2000. I gained a distinction in level 1 Sound Engineering and this led to me teaching in the same collage. Over the years after that, I got work as sound engineer in festivals, alongside teaching music in the collage and at youth centres whilst also continuing to learn to produce my own music. A few years later I studied Sound Engineering at University at which I gained a BA Hons in Audio Production (Sound Engineering). I now co-run a digital record label releasing music (Life For Music) ( for the last five years alongside creating my own music in my personal studio and DJing regular on a local radio station. (Lifefm.tv). I am passionate about teaching people and enjoy seeing peoples own personal development. Many people I remember showing them where to put the snare drum have now gone on to release their own music a few years down the line.
