I have worked in UK Public and International European schools, teaching science and medical science. Previous to my teaching qualification, I worked as a teaching assistant to further support students with their subjects from year 7- year 13. I carried out interventions for pupils for core subjects such as English, maths and science. I am an SEN specialist at my school and in charge of programmes such as Units of Sound targeting autism. I am currently a fully qualified teacher of science with experience in AQA, EDEXCEL and OCR exam boards. I have taught at three schools and have worked with a diverse number of students. My teaching methods are based on Rosenshine's teachings which include breaking down new materials into small steps, daily review, modelling followed by checking student understanding and scaffolding.
