I have English gcses in literature and creative writing. Excellent with speaking, writing and reading.
Enjoy working with people and passing on knowledge as well travelled and spoken with many people of many languages.
To pass on my knowledge in a more a structured way as in teaching I think will be enriching for me as well as them!
Which will give me personal satisfaction. As I already have skills for this type of work it would be a shame to waste them. To get some experience in this field shouldn't be too much of a challenge as I've managed groups of non speaking English before on construction sites and festivals to name a few. My hours are flexible, I can work around students timetables as well. Which I'm sure is helpful for this type of work. At this moment in time I'm working as a removal man and delivery driver.
My lesson plan would consist of;
Basic adjectives, nouns/pronouns, verbs/adverbs and numeracy.
Applying these basics to form sentences for practical contexts.
Ie; 'what is time please?' 'The time is 8pm'
'Thank you, I'm just in time for my train as it leaves at 815'
'Can you tell me where platform 2 is?'
'This is the correct platform' or ' you need to cross the bridge and turn right to get to platform 2'
I can create many practical scenarios using body language to assist.
Using plain as possible english for beginners and understanding which level each student is at and increase difficulty accordingly.
