I teach with a combination of both learning and upskilling materials along with testing students along the way. This is done at a level that ensures students are always engaged in a 121 environment or online. They are open to ask questions to ensure their understanding is solidified.

In addition to this, I also combine classwork with periodic timed tests. This is to ensure students engage in the concept of regular revision and reinforced learnings via tests.

Finally, homework is set regularly that is challenging yet covers all of the core principles we are required to cover.

As we approach the exam, then timed tests are in the form of Mock Exam papers.

I have had 10 years experience now covering a range of different academic levels. This ranges from Key Stage 2 through to Key Stage 4. I cover 11+ for GL, CEM and Independent Schools. In addition to this, KS3 & KS4 for GCSE Students. The range of subjects I cover include Maths, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, History and Computer Science. In addition to this, I also have a wide level of experience with Adult Teaching covering Business Studies, Accountancy and Web Design and Marketing.

For me, the people skills are imperative and it is important to build a solid relationship with all students that is rewarding for us all. One which students have the open trust to ask and raise questions and be motivated in the right environment that they feel comfortable with at all times.
