As a university student with experience teaching Maths, Biology, and Chemistry to students in years 9, 10, and 11, I offer a unique perspective and approach to tutoring. My lessons are designed to cater to individual needs, ensuring that each student receives the appropriate guidance and support to excel in their studies.
I achieved 4A*s for A-level, studying Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Geography. I also achieved all A*s for IGCSE/GCSEs, totalling 13 subjects. Between I completed two years of undergraduate studies in Geography and Data science at University College London. From September 2023 onwards, I will study Medicine (MBBS) at King's College London. Here's what you can expect from my lessons.
Format: I believe in creating an interactive and engaging learning environment. I use a variety of teaching methods, including discussions, demonstrations, visual aids, and practical examples, to make the lessons more interesting and relatable. Every student is unique, and I recognize the importance of adapting my teaching approach to individual needs. I am patient and understanding, willing to spend extra time on challenging topics or adjust the pace of the lessons according to the student's learning style and abilities.
Content: I cover a wide range of topics within Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Geography, ensuring that I align the lessons with the relevant curriculum and exam requirements. I strive to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subjects, building a strong foundation and addressing any knowledge gaps along the way.

I aim to create a supportive atmosphere where students can freely express their queries and doubts. I encourage active participation and ask questions to stimulate critical thinking and deeper understanding.
Experience: With my experience as an academic mentor in school, helping younger students with homework, exams, and revision techniques, I have developed effective strategies to help students improve their performance. I am familiar with the specific r expectations of exams and can provide guidance on time management and addressing mark schemes.
I also speak fluent Cantonese and am able to provide lessons in Cantonese.
Ultimately, my goal is to empower students and help them develop a strong academic foundation, enhance their problem-solving skills, and boost their confidence in the subjects. I am committed to supporting students in achieving their academic goals and ensuring their success in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Geography.
