Initial meeting will start with getting to know you, getting a feel for the areas of the curriculum you enjoy and having conversations about your own learning and what you aim to develop or would like to learn.
Following this there will be baseline assessments in the areas we have discussed.
Together, from our conversations and results from assessments, we will create short term and long term targets to be met. These targets will be reviewed regularly.
I will work with you 1-1 with an aim to meet each of these targets and support you to build confidence and enhance your skills. Most young people are looking for support in literacy and numeracy but this is very much based on what you want to improve. So if there is another are of the curriculum you would like to learn more about or need some support with understanding then I can help with this also.
I can also provide piano and flute tuition for children who would like to improve their musical abilities.
