I have plenty of experience working with children demonstrating and explaining biology experiments. I enjoy working with teenagers and young adults to help them with parts of Biology that they are having trouble with or finding tricky and clearing up their confusion. I also love helping anyone who would like to learn more about Biology or just has an interest in learning some new scientific things.

My approach to tutoring includes identifying what the student would like to get from the lesson and preparing in advance resources and information to make the lesson jam-packed and full of useful learnings. I believe that making a lesson fun and interactive allows students to learn without consciously trying to. It is a more enjoyable way of learning and it takes the 'dread' out of a topic you might be finding difficult. I adapt to the students learning style, whether it be that they learn visually; including videos and diagrams, audibly; by using videos and little mnemonics or if the student prefers to read or study notes I will provide personalized notes for them to learn from.
