I am a graduate in English Language and Linguistics and have a passion for teaching English!

I have 10 years of experience in tutoring English and this year I travelled to Thailand and spent a semester teaching English in a secondary school to students of varied abilities. I have taught students with learning disabilities and both high and low ability. I am TEFL qualified.

My lesson format usually consists of a warm up and different tasks dependant on the student and their learning goals. I like to vary the lesson and make it more fun, by doing different tasks such as vocabulary practice, comprehension style questions, pronunciation practice and fill in the gaps to review what we have learnt.

As a trained EFL teacher my purpose is to offer a fun and interesting learning experience and I will plan all lessons dependant on how you want to learn!

If you need help in reading, writing, punctuation and pronunciation I’m the one to help! I like to use different techniques depending if you are a visual or auditory learner! We will talk about your preferred learning style in our first lesson together and work out how to approach your learning goal.

English is the language of international communication, the media and the internet, so learning English is important for socialising and entertainment as well as work! I want to hep my students learn this international language to help my students be successful in the future! English is an extremely tricky language but creates great opportunities.
