Victoria Fraser Fraser

am a passionate and experienced business, economics, and financial literacy teacher in public, private, international, and national schools. Most recently, I was a Senior Advisor (Curriculum Design) at the Ministry of Education New Zealand, designing and managing various projects (<$1m) to align with the National Curriculum Refresh. These projects focused on mathematics teaching and learning resources, reviews and feedback of curriculum and assessment, and input into best practice pedagogical strategies to raise student progress and achievement and support teachers.

I am a business owner of a yoga studio in New Zealand. I have successfully increased revenue, implemented new systems and marketing strategies, and managed and grown the team to 10 staff members and approximately 500 members.

My experience as a classroom teacher, nationally and internationally, across years 10-13, involved turning complex subject matter into inspiring written explanations and presentations for learning. I also created videos with voiceovers for learning during COVID-19. I was the lead teacher for the student social impact business start-up groups, which is a National competition run under the not-for-profit organization ‘Young Enterprise Scheme.’

I have taught in the classroom for 6 years, tutored and currently tutoring autistic children.
