I recently tutored 5 secondary school students Spanish to help pass their GCSES all of which attained a grade 7 or higher. I will create a fun dynamic which will make students more comfortable and enjoy the lessons whilst still learning and raising their initial grades. I will ask students their weaknesses in the subject and focus on them as well as helping with other areas. For students who just wish to learn the language and do not have a specific curriculum/exam board I will incorporate other things I believe help more when learning a language such as watching spanish shows/movies, listening to songs and studying literature. I recently sat my GCSES and therefore have experienced the stress and anxiety which this can cause especially when taking an exam that is sat in a foreign language. Therefore I hope I can make students feel confident and calm when sitting these exams as they will have more knowledge than when they began learning.
