I have achieved a Bachelor of Communications, Journalism from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and have worked in marketing. I had two novellas published when I was in high school by the Story Factory, a not-for-profit creative writing centre. In 2022 I was nominated for JERAA Ossie Awards Best Text-based story (over 750 words) for my assessment article on sex work. Recently, in 2023, I have been awarded Penguin's 'Write It' Fellowship for my psychological horror novel 'Esther', and written an independent short film – Sariah – which has just been nominated for Montreal Women Film Festival.

I was previously an English tutor in Australia for Years 6-12, assisting students throughout their high school education.
