Being someone who learnt Spanish from scratch myself, I know how hard it can sometimes be to learn a new language. I am willing to give students an encouraging push in the right direction to learning Spanish. I am currently a student at Durham University, and have achieved highly in my GCSE and A Level, so I understand the school systems for taking these exams.
I have plenty of first hand experience with the Spanish language and applying it in certain situations, I have previously partaken in work experience in a primary school where I taught the students English and was in charge of class activities. More recently, I was an intern for a translation company in Seville, as part of my year abroad. Aside from this, I am well versed in Hispanic culture from across the globe, having been involved with my university's Hispanic Society, so I have an open mind which can assist in school projects, especially for those students doing GCSE or A Level Spanish.
i aim to create a relaxed, yet productive environment and I am willing to tutor my sessions according to the needs of the student. I will take into account what they need to focus on particularly, and will use that as the foundation for the classes, until they feel confident enough to move onto something else. I have excellent knowledge of Spanish grammar and formations of verbs, and I am willing to experiment with the different methods of learning these until we find one that works for the student.
