My lessons are designed to be friendly, relaxed, and adaptable to your learning style. Whether you’re just starting to learn Mandarin or hoping to improve your basics, I focus on creating a supportive space where you can build confidence in a fun and natural way.
Since I’m fluent in both Mandarin and English, I often use both languages in class—this helps beginners understand more easily and feel less overwhelmed. We’ll cover the essentials such as vocabulary, pronunciation, sentence structure, and useful daily phrases. I also like to include short conversational practice, so you’ll get to use what you learn in real-life situations.
Although I’m new to teaching Mandarin, I’ve had experience working as a children’s art teacher assistant and have taught art in fun, creative settings. This experience helped me develop patience and an understanding of how to keep lessons engaging, especially for younger students. I’m also the eldest sibling in my family, so I naturally enjoy guiding and helping others, especially kids.
In my lessons, I often use visual aids, storytelling, and simple writing or drawing activities to keep things interesting. I believe that learning should be joyful and pressure-free, especially when starting a new language. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, inspired, and curious throughout the journey.
If you’re looking for a gentle, encouraging, and creative tutor who can guide you through your Mandarin learning with patience and care, I’d be happy to be part of your learning journey!
