First I would like to understand what level you are currently at with English, which I can usually tell by talking to someone, then the idea is to get you from that level all the way up to Fluent. How long that will take can depend on a lot of factors, mainly what level you are starting off at but also people learn at different paces and it's important to be patient. I like to set assignments for my students to do in the time between lessons as it helps them to improve while away and keeps the mind stimulated during the time between lessons. I also try to keep things informal during lessons as it helps students relax and pick up more information.
