Hi!

My name is Veronika, I am an undergraduate Law with Criminology student in Sheffield. I have always had a passion for Social Sciences, especially Sociology, in which I received an A* at A level, so I can teach students up to this level. During my 2 years at Sixth Form, I achieved As and A*s in all of my Sociology mock exams. I studied AQA Sociology, specifically 'Education with Methods in Context', 'Beliefs in Society and Families and Households', and 'Crime and Deviance with Research Methods', therefore I will be the most specialised in these topics, however, considering my interest in the subject, I can assist in other topics on the AQA specification as well. I also am very passionate about languages, and am especially interested in French, in which I got a grade 9 at GCSE. Despite not having the option to continue with it at A level, I have being studying French at home out of interest and would love to help other students receive grades that they desire,

Regarding my teaching techniques, I aim for each lesson to last about an hour, however, I can do longer sessions on request. Each session will be tailored exactly to the student's abilities, and teaching timetables can be matched with the student's to enable them to be taught those topics/chapters that are being taught in school simultaneously. Plenty of time will be dedicated to the child's questions, and I will be more than happy to slow down the pace or revisit areas they are unsure on.

Over the past few years, I have worked with students ranging from ages 6 to 16, and have taught in classroom environments as part of my work experience. I have often presented to students in different languages, such as French and Czech, and am very flexible to match the student's timetable.
