My name is Veronica and I am a professional linguist with more than 8 years of experience.

I have been working as a translator and conference interpreter since 2015, so languages are my bread and butter. My native language is European Spanish, I have a near-native command of English and some knowledge of Portuguese and Italian.

I hold an MA (with distinction) in Translation and Interpreting and a Postgraduate Diploma (with distinction) in Conference Interpreting. Moreover, my knowledge of applied linguistics and terminology give me a great understanding of what works and what doesn't when learning a new language.

Before I got my foot in the translation and interpreting door, I worked as an English and Spanish tutor, mainly in Spain. There, I had students from different levels and needs.

In my lessons, you will improve your listening, writing, speaking and comprehension skills through dynamic and engaging activities that will enable you to learn while having fun.

I am very flexible with regards to methodology, and I am happy to focus on individual needs. For example: accent reduction, vocabulary learning, conversation classes, etc.
