Vera Bihina Ze

I am a passionate and driven individual, who is keen to help others. I am currently pursuing a degree
in mathematics and acquiring a very broad range of knowledge in a variety of different fields. I
love to keep myself busy as I love working in a fast paced environment. The pattern and logical
nature of mathematics is something I thoroughly enjoy and am excited to work with.
As a warm, friendly and patient person, I would be a good employee able to ensure fantastic
interpersonal relationships with my tutees, and help them feel more comfortable with maths.
Alongside my studies, during sixth form and University, I have been a personal tutor to younger
GCSE and A level Mathematics students for 3 years now. I have worked with students in person through schools and virtually through other online teaching platforms. Since I have started tutoring, I have made an
effort to create engaging and beneficial to their learning. In this role, I committed hours a week
with these students, both 1-to-1 and in groups. By forming a trusting rapport with the students,
they were able to feel comfortable to highlight their weaknesses and progress in the subject. I
was able to break down complex topics, using personalised resources and feedback from their
mainstream teachers.
