Hi, my name is Venus, and I am currently studying Creative Writing at University. I received 9s (A**) in English Language and Literature at GCSE. My aim as an English Language tutor is to tailor our sessions to your individual needs. My approach to teaching is student-centred, focusing on the unique needs and goals of each learner.

The first free lesson serves as an introductory lesson where we can discuss what areas of study you would like to improve upon or your struggles within the subject. This session would also help me figure out what teaching style would work best for you and help us get to know each other. From then on, each session will be personalised to your own learning style and include useful resources, mini quizzes and activities to take away and bring back for review.

My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where mistakes are seen as learning opportunities and progress is celebrated, creating sessions you can arrive to with little pressure. I also hope to inspire a love for the English language while equipping students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed. I know that studying at this level can be stressful, and I would like to provide a service I know I would've benefited from when I was doing my own exams. Together, we will navigate the GCSE English Language curriculum, overcome challenges, and achieve your academic goals.
