The whole point of the lesson is for the student to walk away feeling confident that they have mastered the subject. I tailor my lessons according to the student's needs. From selecting unique practice problems to giving high-quality explanations, I believe that serving the student is the number one priority. I ensure that the student walks out knowing that they have achieved mastery. I use an iPad for most of my solution demonstrations and found that this works best. I ask students to work along the problem and encourage them to try the problems first. I explain why certain approaches don't reach the right answer and proceed to explain some shortcuts and techniques I learned throughout the years. If the students require extra help, I will send useful videos and demonstrations explaining the subject. I believe you learn by doing, so be prepared to try a plethora of different problem sets.
