I am an Imperial mechanical engineering student and have tutored students for the past 2 years for Maths and Further Maths and GCSE and A-Levels. Lessons are typically an hour long and homework will be given for the following week to ensure thorough understanding of the topics taught.

Lessons are typically structured from starters through to teaching the key concepts of the topic before finishing with a few practice questions that build on this understanding. Content such as questions will be mixed from online and personal resources depending on the student's requirements and personal academic goals. Students will be expected to complete their homework 24 hours before the next lesson so that it can be marked and checked.

I have recently finished my A-Levels (achieving 4 A*) using the new specification so I have a in depth knowledge of the content and the way to approach exams and exam revision. I have also volunteered to teach before this at other activity centres so I have a good experience helping students with a range of prior knowledge and experiences. I am also fluent in Hindi and Tamil which may aid communication although I teach only in English.

If feasible, in-person, face to face lessons can also be accommodated for depending on availability. For A-Level students approaching their UCAS deadlines and planning ahead to join top universities, I can also offer feedback on their personal statement and advise on university preparation (admissions tests etc). Additional help can be given for students on request.
