I can provide one-to-one private tutoring, tailored to each individual, so that you can get the most out of each session.
I plan to set up a way in which we can clearly communicate between sessions, so that you can let me know what content you are struggling with, so I can create activities and revision plans that suit you best - because lets be honest, the methods teachers use to teach content in class isn't going to be clear to everyone, we all learn things differently!
And just a little side-note to show that I'm not completely new to this, I am currently a second year biomedical science student (so got some knowledge in the field of biology) with tutoring experience, as I hold fortnightly revision sessions for first year students, as part of my university's PAL scheme, for the past year- so I can assure you, I will strive to make these lessons as engaging and intriguing as possible.
My plan for lessons will include a starter activity, based on the feedback I receive about any content you might struggle to get your head around, as a warm-up for the session. This will be followed by either a look through the content in more detail, walkthroughs of any past exam questions on the topic or creating revision materials for the purpose of active recall. But most importantly, I want to highlight that these lesson plans are personalised to you, so I am flexible to hold sessions in ways it works the best for you. And if you haven't fully figured out what that is yet, that is also completely understandable, and I would be happy to try out a range of teaching methods, until we find the one that is the most suitable!
