This allows me to craft a tailored learning schedule designed to meet their specific needs and goals. Each lesson is personalized, ensuring the student benefits from an approach that works best for them. Whether we’re focusing on reading, writing, or literature analysis, I adapt my teaching to create an environment where the student feels supported, motivated, and confident.
I will provide a detailed and adaptable plan of learning and revision that aligns with the correct curriculum for the student’s year group. For GCSE English or other subjects I offer, I have extensive knowledge of exam boards like AQA and will ensure that all lessons are directly relevant to the required material. We will focus on content already introduced at school, unless there is a risk of not covering key topics in time for exams. I will also provide high-quality teaching resources, including appropriate books, essays, and practice tests to strengthen understanding and track progress. Regular topic tests will allow us to assess their knowledge and address any gaps.
Additionally, I am happy to assist with homework and coursework, providing guidance to ensure the student feels confident in their abilities. Lessons can be held in person, which allows me to connect more closely with the student, or online for greater flexibility—whatever works best for you.
